Safeguarding Heritage Buildings, Archaeological Sites, Living Traditions and Practices in the Face of Disasters, Climate Risks and Complex Emergencies marks Track 02 of READY – Resilience for Heritage in the Face of Disasters, Climate Risks, and Complex Emergencies, conceived by ICCROM’s flagship programme FAR, in partnership with the European Commission's Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC), funded by the European Union through the Creative Europe Programme.
READY Track 2 is an interdisciplinary training that emphasizes a systems-based approach to managing risks to immovable heritage—including historic buildings, archaeological sites, monuments and cultural landscapes—together with the living traditions, practices and knowledge systems that are deeply connected to these places.

The course consists of four key phases:
- Phase 1: Online Orientation and Introduction of Key Concepts
- Phase 2: Two-Week In-Person Workshop on Immoveable and Intangible Cultural Heritage (Location: Bucharest, Romania)
- Phase 3: Follow-up Field Projects Implemented by Participants. The resources for implementing field projects will be supported by participants’ institutions.
- Phase 4: International Online Meeting for Dissemination of Field Project Outcomes
